Gunnison County Republican Caucus & Assembly – Potluck Event
Caucus and Assembly – Mark your Calendar!
Caucus is a neighborhood meeting of Republicans where you get to elect your precinct’s leadership, and begin the Primary candidate nomination process by electing Delegates to the Republican County Assembly and higher assemblies. It is also the first step in deciding what is in the Republican Party’s Platform through the Resolution process.
Caucuses directly influence who appears on the primary ballot, giving grassroots voters more power than a general election alone.
The Purpose of the Precinct Caucus – Grassroots Organizing
Gunnison GOP Precinct Caucus will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 • 9:00 A.M. (Registration to begin at 8:00 A.M. and Assembly will follow the completion of Caucus after a short break) at Fred Field Center, 275 S. Spruce St, Gunnison, CO.
Because this could be a long day, we are making this event a Potluck. Please bring something to share. Here is a link to list what you plan to bring: https://www.PerfectPotluck.com/RQYS1813
