The First Annual Gunnison County Chili Challenge is coming to town on March 28th, and we’re inviting everyone to pull up a chair, grab a spoon, and help us celebrate what makes Gunnison County such a special place to call home.
Sponsored by Gunnison County Republican Party, this event is about more than chili—it’s about bringing our community together during a season when connection, kindness, and support matter most.
💛 Why We’re Doing This
Spring can be a tough time for many. This event is rooted in a simple goal:
show love, build connection, and help prevent mental health crises such as suicide through community and belonging.
To support that mission, 30% of all proceeds will be donated to Project Hope, a local organization serving those in need.
